"This Bayou Man, Mister MOJO, and his troupe of near-mad musical provocateurs, have poured Louisiana Fire on audiences across the planet for over a quarter century."  Syndicated News Network     Thrilling audiences Worldwide since 1985, MOJO & The Bayou Gypsies have made millions of people happy, and enriched the lives of countless children with their Arts Outreach. Mojo has performed on PBS, ABC, CBS, NBC, Superstation WGN, FOX, and CMT TV Networks, put out 23 albums of original Music certified by the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame, he is the historian who got the Zydeco Rubboard into the Smithsonian Institution, is executive producer of historic documentaries, is an International Music Ambassador for the State of Louisiana, and is an active advocate for the Arts working with many of America's top Arts Agencies as a member, a speaker, and mentor. Mister MOJO is a Board Member of NAPAMA (North American Performing Arts Managers and Agents).  He's also an actor appearing as a featured star on CMT's "Swamp Pawn" based in the Louisiana Bayous, and star of “Swamp Girls Gone Crazy” about strong, successful women entrepreneurs from the Bayous!  A recipient of three Shriners Hospitals for Children humanitarian awards,  Mojo's charitable performances have raised millions of dollars for worthy causes. Mister MOJO’s life and career are the subject of the feature film, “The Magic Behind the MOJO” by Gallo Films.

ZYDECO T CARRIER

FROTTOIR (RUBBOARD) AND VOCALS

Zydeco T Carrier is a legend known for her skill as a player of the Frottoir, and as a charming AND exciting performer. A native of Church Point, LA,  from one of the founding families of Zydeco music, Zydeco T is a French-speaking Creole and Zydeco Royalty from the famous Carrier family. Her brother was the late Roy Carrier, her nephew is Grammy-winner, Chubby Carrier. Since 1990, Zydeco T and MOJO have stood side-by-side on the Worldwide concert stage!  With her million dollar smile, Zydeco T is a pleasure to watch.

TEE JOHN MOSER

DRUMS AND PERCUSSION

Tee John Moser  is a lifetime performer known for his fabulous ability – he plays like a monster.  Tee John has performed with MOJO & The Bayou Gypsies since 1997!  As a drummer/percussionist, John has performed and toured the United States, Canada and Europe. His high-energy playing has landed him on thousands of recordings, over 30 full length CD debuts along with Radio jingles and TV spots on 3 major networks. Tee John has  toured and performed with Tito Puente, Blue Lou Marini (Blues Brothers), Clark Terry (Johnny Carson Show), Louie Bellson, and Tito Corillio.  You’ll also see him as an actor in Feature Films and Music Videos!

Katie andrick

FIDDLE

Ms. Katie, Fiddler for MOJO & The Bayou Gypsies, is a Multi-instrumentalist - with strong roots in classical music, jazz, R&B, and other contemporary styles - who absolutely fell in love with the art of improvisation. Katie’s skills and styles have led her all over America and the world performing country, zydeco, theater, blues, rock, jazz, R&B, soul, classical, Electronic Dance Music, and fusion.

Katie has performed with KYGO, Michael Buble, Disturbed, Orbert Davis’ Chicago Jazz Philharmonic, and opened for Brad Paisley, in addition to performing with MOJO & The Bayou Gypsies for many years! She’s a sought-after session musician, and with Grammy Winner, Matt Jones Orchestra, she performed on albums by Dionne Warwick, No Name, Gorden Campbell, and the Grammy nominated album, “A Legendary Christmas” by John Legend. 

Katie is an active educator, clinician, guest artist, arranger, and adjudicator for orchestras. She’s also Professor of String Pedagogy at Roosevelt University. Katie is talented, educated, experienced, and fabulous Entertainer!

Mike "nuke" Dennie

Bass

Mike “Nuke” Dennie, MOJO & The Bayou Gypsies’ Bass Player - originally from Cincinnati - began his musical journey as a guitarist heavily influenced by 70s funk/soul and R&B.  Nuke built a sense of harmony that audiences can hear, today. Relocating  to Chicago in the early ‘80’s, Nuke developed a love for Jazz fusion, progressive rock and reggae, and began playing bass guitar to incorporate his sense of harmony and rhythm. He’s performed on tour with many artists, including Patrice Bart-Williams, Uwe Banton and Mike Miller.  Get ready to get Funky like a Nuclear Reactor!
